2006
Creation
The collaboration agreement between the University of Santaigo de Compostela and the University of A Coruña ended in the foundation of the Consorcio para o desenvolvemento de aplicación de xestión universitaria. Was signed in Santiago de Compostela on 24 February 2006 by the universities of Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña, and was published on 19 April 2006 in the Diario Oficial de Galicia (DOG nº 75).
The University of Santiago de Compostela provides CIXUG with the ownership and the developments made to the Academic Management application, Xescampus, for the use of the partners.
2007
UDC installs Xescampus application
In 2007, the University of A Coruña installed the Xescampus application on its two campuses: Coruña and Ferrol.
2009
UVI joins CIXUG
On 4 May 2009, the University of Vigo joined CIXUG as a permanent and active member.
The University of Vigo provides CIXUG with the ownership and developments made in the SUXI Research Management application for the use of partners.
