The deadline for sending applications for the new edition of the Xuventude Mentoring Programme is now open. Young people between 18 and 30 years old registered and beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System who have passed university studies or postgraduate studies, or advanced professional education in a centre of Galicia (see exceptions in the terms and conditions of the programme) can register for the second edition of the programme from today, June 27th until August 1st, with an offer for this edition of 250 participants.

The Xuventude Mentoring programme is a comprehensive training and mentoring programme promoted by the Department of Social Policy of the Xunta de Galicia in collaboration with the Consorcio para el desarrollo de aplicaciones de gestión universitaria (CIXUG) to support and guide young people in their transition to working life after finishing their studies.

This programme is 80% co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Youth Employment Operational Programme, for the period 2014-2020, in the priority axis 1B, investment priority 8.2, specific objective 8.2.1, measure 8.2.1.1.

The training actions of the Programme will be carried out from the definitive publication of the beneficiaries who will participate in the programme until November 30th 2022. In all these months, the young people will have the following actions:

• Advice and guidance by CIXUG's team of tutors, who are in charge of guiding, supporting and individually improving the skills and abilities they have to enhance and obtain employment.
• Mentoring with professionals from the Galician area in charge of providing guidance, increasing the network of contacts and giving the participants a vision of the job market and how they can face it.
• Training activities that will help young people increase their knowledge and develop their competence profile will consist of compulsory and voluntary content that will be carried out in person, in blended learning or online.
• Interaction and networking activities and face-to-face visits to companies that will improve employability and networking.
