GNU/Linux installation workshop at the USC Mathematics College

The Open Source Office of the CIXUG organises a GNU/Linux installation workshop for first year students of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Santiago de Compostela.

 

On the afternoon of 17 September, two GNU/Linux installation sessions will be held for first-year students of the Faculty of Mathematics. The aim of the workshop is the installation and configuration of the Ubuntu operating system on the students' personal computers.

This activity is carried out in collaboration with the teaching team of the subject of Computer Science, which is part of the curriculum of the Mathematics Degree.

The workshop will be held in the Aula Informática 2, and due to the limited number of places per session (15 per session) it is necessary to register in advance at the following link:
